This is my Grandma's recipe :) 1 large chicken approx 3 to 3 1/2 cups flour 3 Tablespoons chicken fat or lard 1/2 to 3/4 cup chicken broth 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon salt for the broth 4 celery stalks for the broth 2 or 4 carrots for the broth onion for the broth (optional) thyme for the broth (optional)
